This is the first of a series of eNewsletters for David Lake Yachting Projects. Formed in 1995 David Lake Yachting Projects has entered the eleventh year of offering client’s professional project management and consulting services for new construction and refit projects. Clients to date have included private yacht owners, design studios and yacht builders. The projects have been diverse, including refitting of existing yachts to “starting with a clean sheet of paper” and working with clients and designers on one off construction. The aim of the eNewsletters is to provide a general update as to “what is happening at DLYP”, how projects are progressing and to generally update potential clients and industry professionals. Other areas that may be highlighted in the eNewsletters are project suppliers and designers and an in depth look at specific aspects of custom projects. |

Following the very successful J/65 build program David Lake Yachting Projects LLC was contracted by Pearson Composites LLC to manage the contract for the Navy 44 MKII Sail Training Craft currently under construction at Pearson Composites in Warren, Rhode Island. Construction of the STC MK II commenced in December 2005 and will continue through to 2008. Recent web site updates highlight the new sail training craft for The United States Navy (CURRENT PROJECTS @ DLYP). The site now shows an enhanced overall presentation and image update.
